Got a Tip?

Zazie Beetz Really Wants To Know If Domino Is In ‘Deadpool 3’

When Disney bought Fox, plenty of comicbook fans rejoiced at the thought of the Fantastic Four joining the MCU to fight the X-Men alongside Deadpool. Though we know there are plans to make a “Deadpool 3,” details are very scarce and we don’t know who, other than Ryan Reynolds, will return to the new film. Among the characters we still know nothing about is Domino, and Zazie Beetz really wants some answers.

In a new interview with Collider to promote her role in Amazon‘s “Invincible” TV show, Beetz said she hasn’t heard anything about a return to the superhero genre. “No, I haven’t [heard about Domino’s return]. I would love to revive the role,” Beetz said. “That was always in the world of what was potentially going to happen. I haven’t had any specific conversations around it. But I’m interested. Not only would I love to revive the role, I would love to figure out a way to make a Domino movie or something like that. We’ll see what happens, but I haven’t had any personal conversations.”

This definitely makes it seem like Domino was part of whatever plans Fox had for “Deadpool 3” or other films before the Disney acquisition of Fox, which tracks with how much of “Deadpool 2” was about building the X-Force. How much of the original plan remains intact? We don’t know. Earlier this year, Kevin Feige confirmed that “Deadpool 3” was definitely in the works, and even said that it would remain an R-rated film.

“I think we target everything we’re doing for kids and adults, so I think your question is more adult or R-rated,” said Feige. “Other than ‘Deadpool,’ which has already established itself as a certain genre and a certain rating, that we already said we would not mess with when we started working on ‘Deadpool’ —which we have– other than that, we haven’t encountered a story or a storyline or a character’s journey that a PG-13, or the tone, or the ratings we’ve been using up to this point has prevented us.”
