Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, Jared Leto, Mark Hamill… Zach Galifianakis? Well, the actor is certainly making the lineage of those who have taken on an iconic Batman villain pretty interesting.
THR reports that Galifianakis has joined "Lego Batman" as The Joker. That’s right, if the live-action DC universe wasn’t big enough for you, there’s an animated one too. He joins Will Arnett, who is reprising his role from "The Lego Movie," and Michael Cera (as Robin) in the superhero tale penned by Seth Grahame-Smith ("Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter") with Chris McKay ("Robot Chicken") directing.
This one is still a long way off — February 10, 2017 — but so far, looks like its keeping the same irreverent tone as its predecessor.
I\’m betting this will make more money than the next live action Batman movie, and that will be so funny.
