Will Ferrell is pretty much critic proof. Even though "Get Hard" earned $90 million domestic despite savage reviews, more than a few criticized the comedy for being homophobic. Well, the premise is pretty straight forward. Ferrell plays step-dad to a duo of kids who are mostly unappreciative of having a solid, responsible father as head of the household. He finds that position challenged when the hunky real Dad comes walking back into their life, causing a showdown between the parents, while Linda Cardellini stands by (we really hope she’s given more to do here).
"Daddy’s Home" opens on Christmas Day. Check out the new trailer below.
