You probably forgot, but way back in the ancient year of 2012, it was announced that Vera Farmiga and Andy Garcia were teaming for a campus romance flick entitled “Admissions.” Yes, it sounds very similar in name to “Admission” starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd which landed earlier this year, but now it has a new title and a fresh trailer, so you can see what it’s all about.
Directed by Adam Rodgers, the movie follows Edith (Farmiga), a free-spirited mom taking her driven daughter Audrey on a walking tour of a beautiful small college, who meets Garcia’s buttoned-up heart surgeon George, who’s taking his son Conrad on the same tour. Can you guess what happens next? Well, if you can’t, this “Before Sunset“-esque story finds the pair hanging out for the rest of the day, and presumably falling in love and sharing feelings and stuff. It’s warm, broad and going straight to VOD.
Yep, “At Middleton” will get a limited release on January 31st, the same day you can just stay in and order it on TV. See if it’s worth a night in by watching below.
About time people made a movie for people with brains. Every movie doesn't have to
have a girl with a torn blouse & a guy with an axe & a woody.
The trailer looks quite funny, I look forward to seeing this when it comes out over here in the UK.
