Watch: Trailer For Josh Radnor’s ‘Liberal Arts’ Starring Elizabeth Olsen

nullIt’s been more than a year since Josh Radnor’s directorial debut, “Happythankyoumoreplease,” hit theaters after winning the Sundance Audience Award in 2010, and now the “How I Met Your Mother” actor is back with his sophomore effort “Liberal Arts.” And we have the first trailer for the indie dramedy.

Radnor stars as a discontented 35-year-old liberal arts college grad who starts a relationship with a 19-year-old sophomore (Elizabeth Olsen) whom he met while visiting an old professor (Richard Jenkins) at his alma mater. Despite a typical indie-dramedy premise, there’s a real heart to the film, and Radnor has a strong and believable chemistry with Olsen. And fortunately, the trailer doesn’t give away any of Allison Janney’s scenes or Zac Efron’s role, which should be best viewed within the context of the film. Catching "Liberal Arts" at Sundance earlier this year, and despite a few misgivings, our man on the ground said the movie's "heart is clearly in the right place."

Be sure to catch “Liberal Arts” when it opens on September 14th. Watch the trailer below. [Collider]
