Got a Tip?

Watch: The Wolfpack Is Back In ‘The Hangover 2’ Trailer

We’re only a few months away from “The Hangover 2” and undoubtedly, director Todd Phillips is in the thick of it to get it done so you’ll understand why the first teaser for the film is quite short. But no matter, the returning trio of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis walking in slo-mo to Jay-Z‘s “Reminder” is all that’s needed to get us excited.

Paul Giamatti, Liam Neeson and Jamie Chung are among the cast that includes Justin Bartha (who looks like he’s gone missing again), Mike Tyson and Ken Jeong who reprise their roles for the story that takes the party to Thailand for Stu’s pre-wedding brunch, which is destined to go awry. Not much to explain here: things look like they’ve gone horribly in Thailand, Alan still likes animal t-shirts and there is a monkey.

“The Hangover 2” lands on May 26th. Watch the trailer below (or in HD at Apple).

In “The Hangover Part II,” Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.

  1. Um. Shouldn\’t the teaser for a comedy have something funny in it? The monkey was kind of funny, but the whole tone of the teaser is very serious. I like the music, but it seems so heavy, like music for an action movie or something.

  2. Great music choice, but it does look super amateur for some reason. Plus, the slow-mo walk of absurd characters looking super not cool is less of a \”director trademark\” than \”lame every time we see it in his movies\”. I\’m pumped for this, though.

  3. That\’s actually a pretty great teaser, if only for how amateur it is. It looks like Phillips made this in iMovie, not what you would expect from the sequel to one of the biggest comedies of all time. But I like it.
