Update: The English language version is here. Watch below.
It's in Russian, therefore it's pretty terrible. Though maybe with lines like "he doesn't care about the law, he wants justice," it'll be cliché in any language. Starring Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall, Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, and Werner Herzog as one of the main villains, "Jack Reacher" — formerly known as "One Shot" — opens in theaters on December 21st, 2012 via Paramount Pictures.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote "The Usual Suspects" (plus) but directed "The Way of the Gun" (minus), the film is an adapation of Lee Child's popular action-adventure novel, "One Shot." We have no idea why this trailer is so car-centric (unless we're really mis-remembering the book). Also, what's up with the "urine filter" filmmakers are using now? ("Magic Mike" was great but at times, watching it was like looking looking into a toilet bowl). We presume this leak precipitates an offical studio release of the non-Russian language trailer (which will make everyone momentarily forget that Cruise is in the midst of a high-profile divorce), but at least there's subtitles on this version (click the CC button to enable).
I'm totally awesome in this. By the power of Xenu!
Mission Impossible V …or VI. I don't really know, they're all the same.
Way Of The Gun a minus? Alrighty, then…
*yawns*
Any chance Joe Kraemer is scoring this one?
You need to go back and re watch Way of the Gun there fella
a) Someone really liked "Drive". b) Cruise just doesn't look like the menacing figure the man is describing. c) brought back memories of Knight & Day
Awful. Lee Child should be ashamed.
Looks super generic.
What happened to McQuarries writing credit on Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol? Did he see the final product and demand it be taken off?
Writing The Usual Suspects is a plus? Have I stumbled into the IMDB general forums…? Movie is garbage
The Way of the Gun was aces! That's all I gots.
