Set to premiere during the MTV Movie Awards on September 12th, a teaser has arrived for the Frank Miller directed Gucci ad for their new fragrance Guilty which is the feeling someone gets after buying a bottle.
Starring Evan Rachel Wood and Chris Evans and featuring the music of Friendly Fires the teaser basically looks like a mash-up of “Speed Racer” and “The Spirit” — and no, we don’t mean that in a good way in the slightest. Even at thirty seconds long, Miller’s overused aesthetic sensibility is absolutely boring.
Yeah, it’s an ad for smelly water and these things are usually terrible, no matter how high the budget or talented the people involved are. But if you won’t be able to catch the ad when it premieres on cable, it will hit the web a couple of weeks earlier on August 24th. For now, here’s an early look. [/Film]
