It has been three years since Judd Apatow‘s middle age dramedy "This Is 40," and he’s mostly been busy since, working his producer muscles on "Girls," "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues," and "Begin Again." But he’s back in feature length form with "Trainwreck," his big summer comedy, and the first trailer for the movie has arrived today.
Amy Schumer (who also wrote the film) and Bill Hader lead the effort, about which plot details have mostly been kept under wraps, but will reportedly center on a woman trying to rebuild her life, with a boyfriend, parent and best friend all in the mix of characters she’s dealing with. And the ensemble for this one is huge, with LeBron James, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, Vanessa Bayer, Ezra Miller, John Cena, Barkhad Abdi, Mike Birbiglia, Jon Glaser, Daniel Radcliffe, Marisa Tomei, Amar‘e Stoudemire, and more slated to make appearances. Too much of a good thing, or will it all come together?
Audiences will get their first taste next month at a "work-in-progress" screening at SXSW. "Trainwreck" opens on July 17th. Green band and red band trailers below.
This is an amazing movie. I watch the trailer of this movie Trainwreck it was an comedy movie that i will not passed me by, I will watch it.
Oh, and I won\’t be seeing this because I literally can not stand looking at Amy Schumer\’s fat face.
A "work in progress screening"? If it\’s not complete how does it have its R rating from the MPAA?
In the words of Amy: Tilda "mo-fo" Swinton.
Bridget Jones all over again
2017: Kazaam reboot starring Lebron James as the lovable genie.
I\’ll save you all the 149 minute running time by saying that Schumer gets over her commitment fears and ends up with Hader.
this is everything I\’ve ever wanted
It looks like a female version of That Awkward Moment. Only she\’s even older than the guys were which makes it potentially even more pathetic.
I love that Barkhad Abdi is in this
Tilda Swinton plays her boss. Great cast!
