Rumors have been circulating that this Sunday, May 4th—aka Star Wars Day—will feature some kind of formal announcement about “Star Wars: Episode 7.” Maybe it’ll happen, maybe it won’t, but here’s something to hold you over until then.
R2-D2—who will apparently be in the sequel too because obviously—is at the center of this new Star Wars Day promo that sees him blasted into outer space. Why? Because NASA flight engineer Rick Mastracchio has a special message for fans from the International Space Station, and R2-D2 has to help him deliver it. See how it all goes down below.
