To call "Breaking Bad" a pop culture phenomenon would be an understatement, but AMC struck gold with the unlikely hit about a high school teacher turned drug lord. But can that success be repeated? They’re certainly going to give it a try with Vince Gilligan set to debut "Better Call Saul," a prequel spinoff focusing on, you guessed it, crooked lawyer Saul Goodman, and a new teaser has arrived.
Sorry folks, no footage here, just an evocative 30 seconds that highlights the less-than-reputable world the lawyer operates in. It’s a nice taste of what’s to come we suppose, but c’mon AMC, what about some actual footage? We’ll just have to wait, so until then, here’s a behind-the-scenes featurette (via HeyUGuys) featuring star Bob Odenkirk and more behind the camera talent, most of whom worked on "Breaking Bad," who are back together to step back into the world and shoot in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
"Better Call Saul" premieres on February 8th. Watch below.
