This weekend, lovers and the happily coupled will celebrated their union with chocolates, fine dining, cards, and sex. But if you’re single, or if you don’t need your relationship acknowledged, defined, legitimized, or solidified by a Hallmark holiday used to sell cheap gifts and chalky chocolate, the folks at streaming site Mubi have got you covered.
The site has unveiled an animated, but still NSFW teaser for what they are dubbing the The Anti-Valentine Weekend. It promises to feature "sex, love, and everything in between" but just what that means, you’ll have to tune in to see. The site is Netflix for cinephiles, so maybe there’s no better time to check it out. Watch below.
MUBI is absolutely fantastic. There is simply no where else on the internet where you can get curated suggestions and access to the best of world cinema. Its £3 a month and you get a completely new set of 30 films each month. I don\’t know what I\’d do if they pulled it because there is simply no alternative for that kind of cinema.
Have you tried the new 30 film version ? I think it\’s genius – every day a new film to discover!
\’MUBI\’ was much better when it was \’theautuers\’. I\’m surprised that site is still alive.
