“It’s a bit more of a darker vision of the Transformers world… It’s not a kids’ movie, I’ll tell you that much,” Titus Welliver told Nerdist recently about “Transformers: Age Of Extinction,” sending certain corners of fandom into a tizzy. Less reported was Welliver’s subsequent clarification, which definitely wasn’t written by studio publicists. “I misspoke in my last interview when I said that Transformers 4 was not a kids’ movie… What I meant was that this film will in fact expand their target audience and bring in a bigger fanbase,” the actor re-stated. “Following the huge success of Transformers and their toy line, it is certainly a kids’ movie and with the addition of Mark Wahlberg, ‘Transformers 4’ will be the coolest in the franchise.” That’s definitely way less exciting.
Anyway, long story short — a brand new trailer for the sequel has arrived. Wahlberg brings the brawn of the humans alongside Shia LaBeouf Jack Reynor, while Michael Bay sits behind the camera and does what he does best: make shiny things explode really good. Autobots and Decepticons roll hard one again, with new vehicles and stuff that, with the aid of top notch CGI, transform into characters that will surely help sell those toys to the aforementioned bigger fanbase.
So bring the kids — or the kid at heart — on June 27th. Watch the trailer and title sequence below.

"I think we've found a transformer!"
I'm sorry. Wahlberg just can't sell that line.
So, what they're saying is… the rules have changed?
I don't buy it until I see the scene where Bumblebee craps out the skeletal remains of Sam Witwicky onto Soundwave's front lawn.
Optimus = The Yellow King
More cowbell?
American Flags!
The TREES exploded in that final scene. Moar BAY-SPLOSIONS than evahhhhh.
Please make it stop.
They need to make an Honest Trailer for this that says, "You morons paid for Michael Bay's new house in the Caribbean by seeing this bullshit. Where do you live?"
after watching this trailer about 6 or more times, it is clear that the scene(so to speak) has changed. the look and feel is way better than the previous three. now dont get me wrong, I loved the first three films. the addition of a new cast and a crazy wicked story is awesome. cant wait till this film hits theaters.
This basically looks like The Old Optimus Prime Rises with more flames on the side. Coming out of retirement is so hip right now.
