It has not been a great year for comedy thus. We won’t even get into “A Haunted House” or “Movie 43,” and while “Identity Thief” is a massive box office smash, it’s also unbearably awful. As for this weekend’s “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone“? It has flashes of humor but it’s a missed opportunity over all, although we will say that Jay Mohr is surprisingly hilarious in it. All of which brings us to “Scary Movie 5,” which continues the unfunny train of 2013.
A new trailer has dropped with more bits from the movie that feel like first draft stuff, just filmed and shot because they happened to have equipment standing by. The targets for parody and ridicule are pretty broad, though it does keep current with “Mama” and the not-even-released “Evil Dead” getting referenced. It’s all pretty stale though, and even a thirteen-year-old boy would probably be bored by this. But if anything, the entire production donated to the Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan Recovery Fund.
Watch the trailer below in spite of yourself — it opens on April 12th if you dare. [/Film]
VERY GOOD TRAILER !!!
AWESOME POSTER !!
SOME FUNNY SPOOFS AND CHARLIE SHEEN LOOKS GREAT !!!!
Most critics and people don't know their butt from a hole in the ground on movies
Trust your own opinion n have a sense of humor. Not all movies are serious or even close to being as stupid as Blair witch.
HOLY Crap that was terrible
You KNOW a movie sucks when it bites a joke from PRINCESS BRIDE
Most of these jokes were previously recorded in A Haunted House.
They are still making these?
