While some of us were fortunate enough to catch these films at Cannes, or later at other fests, the rest of us are still excited to see these interesting films. One of which is Palme d’Or nominee “Mon Roi” (or “My King” in the states), the latest effort from Maïwenn (“Polisse”). The relationship deconstruction drama follows Tony (Cannes Best Actress winner Emmanuelle Bercot), who after a skiing accident takes her rehabilitation time to reflect on her relationship with Georgio (Vincent Cassel), pondering what she loved about him and why their passionate union has led to such destruction.
