Is this the year M. Night Shyamalan gets his groove back? Well, he’ll have two chances on two different formats to make it right with fans. He’s got a feature film in the can with "The Visit" (previously known as "Sundowning"), but first he dips his toes into event television with "Wayward Pines." The first trailer for the show is here.
Starring Matt Dillon, Melissa Leo, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, and Juliette Lewis, this “Twin Peaks”-esque series follows an FBI agent who heads to a titular Pacific Northwestern town to search for some missing federal agents, and becomes entangled with some very colorful locals. Shyamalan directed the pilot and produced the series.
Let us know if you’ll be tuning in on May 14th at 9 PM to check this out.
Looks good ,give it a try ,if you dont like it find a different channel ,why does everthing have to be picked apart ,that\’s how I feel
Link works now. And to think this is the man who made THE SIXTH SENSE, which I still maintain is possibly the greatest studio film of the 1990s.
The link doesn\’t seem to work, but there wa a trailer a year ago, and it looked like a campy "Twin Peaks" ripoff, with a bit of "Under the Dome" thrown in for good measure.
