It’s been seven years since Jonathan Levine’s directorial debut “All The Boys Love Mandy Lane” premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. In that time, Levine delivered three more directorial outings—“The Wackness,” “50/50” and “Warm Bodies”—while his first film sat gathering dust on the proverbial shelf. This year The Weinstein Company’s genre shingle Radius landed the rights—nearly a decade since its parent company first bought the film—and it will now finally see a release this fall. A proper release begets a proper advertising campaign, so the studio has released a brand new trailer through CraveOnline.
Starring Amber Heard—then an unknown—the R-rated film focuses on a group of high school students that invite Mandy Lane, the girl everyone wants to be with, to a weekend party on a secluded ranch. One by one, as the weekend rages on, the group’s number drops until the survivors are fighting for their lives.
“All The Boys Love Mandy Lane” hits VOD next month on September 6th, with a limited theatrical release on October 11th. Watch the trailer below.
high school student ? johnny should be shamed ,dating someone like her daughter .only seven years ago she could be high school student ( just 20 years old).
I can't believe this thing is still unreleased. I saw it years ago and it wasn't exactly an amazing watch. Sure it was all right, but I had just assumed that it was straight to video bait. Then again what do I know? Apparently nothing.
Strange. This movie has been broadcast on South African TV occasionally over the past few years.
