We’re now up to four trailers for Laika‘s “The Boxtrolls,” and there’s still six months to go until this hits theaters. Clearly, everyone involved is very excited to show this off to the world. The latest spot comes from across the pond and once again shares with viewers the world they’ll be exploring very soon.
And so, once again we’ll remind you that the animation forces behind “Coraline” and “ParaNorman” put their creative hands on this one, an adaptation of “Here Be Monsters” by Alan Snow, which tells the whimsical tale of the Victorian-era town of Cheesebridge, where fearsome trolls live beneath the city streets, emerging at night to steal the city’s children and cheese. Elle Fanning, Toni Collette, Jared Harris, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Richard Ayoade, Tracy Morgan and Ben Kingsley provide the all-star voices, and yes, this looks like it could be a great ball of fun. But let’s not blow our load too early there, okay marketing team?
