It’s going to be a good summer at the movies for hip hops fans. In August, Universal drops the needle on the N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton," but coming next week is another movie powered by beats and rhymes, the Sundance-approved "Dope." And new red band trailer is here to get you pumped.
Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Kimberly Elise, Chanel Iman, Keith Stanfield, Quincy Brown, Blake Anderson, Zoë Kravitz, and A$AP Rocky, star in Rick Famuyiwa‘s celebrated movie which has hit both Park City and Cannes. The story revolves a trio of friends whose lives get more complicated when they become saddled with backpack full of drugs. It’s wild trip through the The Bottoms, with a terrific soundtrack moving the whole thing along.
