If you haven’t yet grown tired of winky zombie movies that present the undead in a new context, then there are some treats coming this fall. Next month, Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill and more face off against braineaters in "Cooties," and then a month later so do a bunch of boy scouts in "Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse." Joined by Logan Miller, Halston Sage, Sarah Dumont, Patrick Schwarzenegger and David Koechner with director Christopher Landon (multiple "Paranormal Activity" sequels) behind the camera, there’s not much else to elaborate on besides what the title tells you, so here’s the official synopsis:
Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.
