March is here, which means a whole new boatload of movies are coming your way in the coming weeks, so here's a peek at a few of them.
First up is "Friends With Kids" the latest from writer/director Jennifer Westfeldt, that features a pretty great cast including Adam Scott, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Chris O'Dowd. This clip from the film is a nice set-up to what audiences will get. It's from an early scene in the movie in which the go-getter, casual sex, endless dating lifestyle of our leads is introduced only for a quick twist to be revealed right as the scene closes. Don't worry, it's not a spoiler at all, but merely a set-up of what's to come in the story of two friends who decide to have a kid but forgo the messiness of getting into an actual relationship. "Friends With Kids" arrives on March 9th.
"Jeff Who Lives At Home" starring Jason Segel and Ed Helms is finally hitting theaters after being completed for a while now, and it looks like another winning entry from the Duplass bros. Co-starring Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon, the story centers on two brothers— one who is going through a mid-life crisis (Helms) and believes his wife (Greer) is having an affair, and the other, a lovable loser pothead (Segel) still living with his mom (Sarandon) — as they set out to spy on the wife, a journey unfolds with all sorts of unintended consequences. In this scene, Helms races his new, crisis-purchased Porsche and it doesn't end well. "Jeff Who Lives At Home" will ring your doorbell on March 16th.
Finally, you've already heard the word about "21 Jump Street." It's the Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum starring, TV show adaptation that is already riding a huge wave of buzz. Here's a red band spot for the film that features a few new moments. This movie rolls on March 16th. [Moviefone/Yahoo/ComingSoon]
