Anton Corbijn is headed to the Berlin International Film Festival to unspool his latest film "Life" featuring Robert Pattinson and Dane DeHaan, but before we get a sense of that project, he’s got something else we can take a look at.
The filmmaker has directed a new Miss Dior spot starring Natalie Portman. It sees the actress set to be married, only to helicopter her way to freedom with a hot young hunk. Sounds about right. In any event, the otherwise substance-less perfume advertisement is nicely photographed, which we’d expect no less from Corbijn. Check it out below along with a making-of video.
if I\’m not mistaken that building (in the video) looks a lot like the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Cap D\’Antibes.
Glasses covered in shit maybe, the right way to watch perfume adverts.
The fiancee was literally standing at the end of the aisle in a tux and he had short, dark hair. He was in the picture. Maybe you need glasses, Sdeven.
the fiancé was literally and metaphorically never in the picture
she wasn\’t marrying her dad, he was walking her down the aisle obviously. You can barely see her fiancee for like one frame
Why was she going to marry her Dad?
Janis Joplin\’s voice makes the whole thing for me. Natalie looks gorgeous, the cinematography is beautiful, overall very watchable. Dior is doing everything right for the past couple of years.
