Watch: More Julianne Moore In 2 Clips From David Cronenberg’s ‘Maps To The Stars’

Maps To The StarsDespite a strong reception at the Cannes Film Festival —read our B- review here— David Cronenberg’s “Maps To The Stars” will be sitting out this year’s awards season in favor of a release date next year. But a long wait isn’t stopping the steady flow of clips being released from the film.

Following up yesterday’s NSFW clip, the two latest clips from the film feature Julianne Moore’s Valley Girl-ish fading movie star, Hanna. First up, via Dazed Digital, is a clip that runs a little over a minute long and shows Moore’s character being casually cruel to Mia Wasikowska’s disfigured PA.

The second clip, via HeyUGuys, is only forty-five seconds long and finds Moore complaining to her agent over the phone at the Chateau Marmont about the various indignities she faced on her way to meet middle-of-the-road director Garry Marshall.

As we’ve said before, Cronenberg’s scandalous take on show business won’t officially hit stateside until next year, but New York-area cinephiles will get a chance to see the film later this week when “Maps To The Stars” screens twice this weekend as part of the New York Film Festival. Watch the two clips below and visit the NYFF site for more details on the screenings.

  2. Hey, Jess, don\’t you have enough articles about Julianne Moore in Still Alice that you can pollute with comments about fake Oscar buzz for Kristen "one expression" Stewart?
