Whether you’re a fan of “Star Wars,” “Ocean’s Eleven,” or if you’re just amused by clever videos on the internet, you’ll definitely want to check out this video mashup. Created by Synaptic Studios, the video features Admiral Ackbar in “Return of the Jedi” gathering with a band of rebels to plan a surprise assault against Imperial forces. But, the original audio from the scene is replaced with a memorable scene from Steven Soderbergh’s “Ocean’s Eleven,” which features Danny Ocean planning an elaborate heist.
Two very different movies (or franchises, really) that just so happen to share a similar scene of a ragtag bunch of rebels/thieves gathered around for a debriefing and the end result is pretty funny. There’s even a point where it cuts to Han Solo talking and the audio actually seems to matchup with what he’s saying. Talking about it doesn’t do it justice so you might as well check it out already.
