Look, the idea that an old blind guy (Scott Glenn) teaches a young blind kid to turn his disadvantage (blindness) into an advantage and kick-ass at night as a crime fighter is a little silly, but early reviews for Marvel and Netflix’s “Daredevil” are solid. Many even suggest that the darker tone of the series — something the showrunners trumpeted early on — is actually legit.
“[Showrunners] Drew Goddard and Steve DeKnight drench "Daredevil" in shadows and blood. The latter comes as a bit of a shock. Flinch and one mistakes ‘Daredevil’ for a TV spinoff of Christopher Nolan‘s Batfilms, morose and willing to break a few bones,” Esquire wrote favorably. " ‘Daredevil is Marvel After Dark, violent, morally hazy, and peppered with cusses.”

All 13 episodes of "Daredevil" will be available to watch on Netflix starting April 10. Watch the two new trailers below. [Via CBM]
I.e. his "history"…The first/original costume was the yellow, black and red with the DD on the chest. (which is identical in design to the red introduced in issue #7); Matt sewed himself in Daredevil #1
I\’m sick of the lame teenage Tumblr aimed lovey-dovey crap that CW churns out with Arrow and The Flash.
Daredevil looks like everything a superhero tv show should be.
To everyone complaining about the suit… This was his original costume. As in how he started out. He didn\’t have the known costume from Day 1. This already looks better than kiddie "dramas" like Arrow and Smallville. Also many throwbacks to Miller anf Bendis\’ Daredevil. Also I am yet to read a negative review. Stop cocomplaining without actually knowing anything about the character/s history or arcs. The acting also looks great.
aren\’t all superhero movies and comic books made for 13 year olds? could have fooled me.
Everyone needs to chill about the suit. By the end of this season he will be in red, that has been said by people with Marvel. This show looks freaking awesome and I can\’t wait until next Friday. Also @Leon go back under your bridge you troll. It\’s funny cause every critic I have seen as given this rave reviews now and when the first trailer came out.
Still looks soft. Way too emotional and very talkie. Also awful costume. Very nervous about this. So far looks pretty weak. There is a major different between dramatic and emotional. Listening to hot women complain is so overdone. All th action looks pretty lame. I thought this was supposed to be a hard take. Looks like it\’s made for 13 year olds and babies. Major fail. It\’s also funny how these came out after the initial trailer that looked terrible. Consider the ball dropped.
