Watch: Fox News Report On ‘The Lego Movie’ Claims It Pushes Anti-Business Message To Kids

null

So, “The Lego Movie” opened this past weekend, and was a massive hit, and it already has a sequel in the works. But did you know it pushes an insidious anti-business message to kids? Good thing Fox News is here.

A pretty hilarious/dumb news segment that ran last week on “Varney & Co.” claimed that the Warner Bros. film was just the latest in a recent string of family movies, including “The Muppets Movie” and “The Lorax,” that painted CEOs in a bad light. God forbid! We’ll just let you watch Fox try and spin this theory below, but needless to say, it kind of falls apart when they attempt to claim that Mr. Potter in “It’s A Wonderful Life” wasn’t such a bad guy.

  1. …But most CEOS are awful human beings, that's why they are succesfull, look at D.T., the apple-guy, the oracle-guy, the ms-guy, etc… Sad to say but companies are mostly runned by bad examples as human beings.

  2. I have cast a spell on all blogger and commenters who post movie piracy. If you post movie piracy on this page, you\’re children will go bline and have cancer on their sexual parts.

  3. The movie was stupid, poorly written, and had offensive jokes in it, yes.
Anti-business plotlines would've been a GOOD thing, but unfortunately the writers can't come up with anything better than pop-culture jokes and old 4chan 'memes'. The movie has no deep meaning or worth. It's meant to appeal to the stupid masses of children and unfortunately adults as well. When I was a kid I spent my days reading medical school textbooks and college-level novels at 4,000wpm. I would be dreaming of finally going to college and becoming a surgeon at 21, not sit spending my days going online learning about how to measure something's size with a banana and dreaming of growing a neck beard while living in mother's basement for all eternity. It's hard to believe anyone is mentally defunct enough to find this movie remotely entertaining.

  4. I am a conservative and a viewer of Fox News and I think it was the single most stupid story they have ever done.. They really were grasping at straws. This movie is simply fantastic.. No other way to put it. They must have read a so called review from Rotten Tomatoes, you know one of those that didn't even watch the whole movie and reviewed it off the trailer.

  5. Exactly! Thank-you, Fox for having the courage to expose this. Everyone, please share this video!!

Our family watched this filthy movie on Saturday, expecting a nice, typical kids movie. Wrong! I was so appalled that I wanted to walk right out, but it was my son's birthday and my wife convinced me to let them stay. The movie just kept getting more infuriating. Entirely anti-capitalist! And anti-police! And, by the end, blatantly anti-family and authority figures! As a father, it was like all the rules I ever put in place were to be questioned and that rebelling would end up in a hug and not a belt.

After the movie, we all sat down and had a long talk about this leftist propaganda. Then we took all his birthday legos out back and burned them. Good riddance I say!
