Watch: First Trailer For BBC’s ‘The Night Manager’ Starring Tom Hiddleston And Hugh Laurie

The Night Manager#peaktv can keep coming as far I’m concerned, because some of the best filmed recent dramas have been on the small screen. Frankly, I’d rank the second season of "The Knick" and David Simon‘s "Show Me A Hero" alongside any of the best movies of 2015, and the upcoming twelve months promise more great stuff. One that cracked our 20 Most Anticipated TV Shows Of 2015 is BBC‘s miniseries "The Night Manager," and there are three reasons: Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, and John Le Carré. And now the first trailer is here.

The adaptation of the famed author’s work, the series tracks a former soldier who is recruited by British intelligence for an undercover mission of vengeance against an arms dealer, but is put at risk by a turf war between spy agencies. Sounds great.

Susanne Bier ("Brothers," "After The Wedding") directed all six episodes, and while no air date has been revealed just yet, the show will get a premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival along side some other shows. Check out what’s joining "The Night Manager" at the Berlinale and then watch the trailer.
