Right before last summer’s "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" commenced in theaters, the Weinstein Company put in a little bonus footage-free teaser for Quentin Tarantino‘s "The Hateful Eight." Sure, the movie hadn’t even started shooting yet, but it spoke to the company’s commitment to ensure that QT’s western would be a major event. After being shown exclusively in theaters, it has now dropped online.
Running one minute and forty-seven seconds, the teaser soundtracked to The Stooges‘ "Gimmie Danger" and introduces viewers to the characters via title cards: Major Marquis Warren, “The Bounty Hunter"; John Ruth, “The Hangman"; Daisy Domergue, “The Prisoner," Chris Mannix, “The Sheriff"; Bob, “The Mexican”; Oswald Mobray, “The Little Man”; Joe Gage, “The Cow Puncher, ” and General Sandy Smithers, “The Confederate.”
Starring Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern and Channing Tatum, "The Hateful Eight" drops on Christmas Day. [Slashfilm]
This trailer has been \’online\’ since December! Get with it…
Oh crap, I don\’t know why I read born 63 as 67 (probably March 27), clearly over 50, damn it, forget about it.
Soary, not quite 50. I just thought.
Tarantino looks like a total gramps since he\’s turned 50. He has the perfect chin for it too (works to pronounce any age, I guess).
Footage would be great, but that\’s actually really cool
No footage = disappoinment
