Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig have been trying to keep everyone on their toes about their Lifetime movie "A Deadly Adoption." When it was announced earlier this year, it destroyed the surprise of releasing the movie onto an unsuspecting public, and they "canceled" the movie. But that seems to have been fake out as it’s still on the way and the first teaser is here.

Rachel Lee Goldenberg (“Escape From Polygamy,” “Love at the Christmas Table,” “Toddlers and Tiaras: Where Are They Now?”) directed the comedic/dramatic thriller from a script from "Spoils Of Babylon" scribe Andrew Steele, and is apparently based on a true story about a couple who look after a young, pregnant woman with plans to adopt her child, only for things to go wrong during the final months of her pregnancy.
Jessica Lowndes ("90210") co-stars, and the movie hits Lifetime on June 20th.
This is the only film I\’m interested in seeing this year.
Wow! They announced this on or around April 1, so I just assumed, with most other people, that it was an April fool\’s joke. Very cool that it wasn\’t. 🙂
