Are you still recovering from the Oscar snub for David Oyelowo‘s performance in "Selma"? Well, next month you’ll get to spend an entire movie with nothing but the actor in "Nightingale." And the first teaser for the single character, single location drama is here.
Directed by Elliott Lester, the drama follows an Iraq war veteran who psychologically unravels over the course of 80 minutes. So, plenty to play with here, particularly for an actor of Oyelowo’s caliber, but despite his game turn, we called the end result "only intermittently successful" with the film starting "to wander and repeat after its initial stages."
