New Year’s Eve has a popular setting at the movies, providing the backdrop for romance, drama, comedy, horror and more. There is something about ringing in the New Year that raises the stakes and sets the tone for life changing events, and it’s against this setting that “Liars All,” the feature debut of writer/director Brian Brightly plays out.
Starring genre fave Sara Paxton (“The Innkeepers,” “Shark Night 3D,” “Last House On The Left“) and “90210” stars Matt Lanter and Gillian Zinser, the thriller follows a group of young people who start playing a dangerous game on New Year’s Eve that winds up with someone dead, and a killer on the loose. In this exclusive clip, we see the opening stages of the game and how just a slight bit of peer pressure already starts to push things into uncomfortable territory.
