Answering a classified ad is a bit like playing Russian roulette. Whether or not you get a totally normal person or screwball weirdo is completely left to chance. Directed by Patrick Brice, who also co-leads the film with Mark Duplass, the story follows Aaron, who answers Josef’s aforementioned ad. Josef says he’s dying from brain cancer and that he’s hired Aaron to make a video diary for his unborn son. It’s an earnest plea, but as their day of shooting goes on, it becomes clear that things are not what they seem. Catching the movie at SXSW last year, our own Drew Taylor wrote in his review that it’s "a funny/sad horror comedy that feels like the unholy union of ‘What About Bob‘ and ‘Fatal Attraction.’ "
"Creep" hits iTunes on June 23rd and Netflix on July 14th. Watch below.
