“There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?” While those are the words fans heard in the first trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," they could also be used to describe the colossal meeting between two superheroes in next spring’s "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice." The movie is now just months away and a new trailer is here to show more of the spandex showdown between DC Comics‘ biggest brands.

The Zack Snyder directed movie has already rubbed some the wrong way, showing Superman attacked by the public for his wanton destruction in "Man Of Steel," and unsmilingly unmasking Batman. Too dark, too grim? Depends on who you ask, but clearly, Warner Bros. and co. are staking a distinct flavor that’s quite different than Marvel‘s sunnier confections. And surely, this new trailer will on spur the debate about which tone is more fitting for blockbuster entertainment.
Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams, and many, many, more, "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" opens on March 25, 2016.
Looks like I\’ll be passing on this one.
crap crap…people should be ashamed doing this kind of idiot movie…
Damn, there is just too much crap going on. How long is this movie, 5 hours long?
I hope someone fires the director of this trailer. It was so god damn awful. I couldnt have been more excited for this movie until I saw this trailer. Now my interest is completely diminished. Seemed so "goofy" especially with the idiotic trailer music cutting in and out at the end
I don\’t know -comic fans help me with this I will watch this but seeing the last Superman film it seems that Superman would snap Batman\’s neck like he did General Zod the fight would last about say 4 Minutes. How could this be an epic fight since Zod\’s crew had way more dangerous weapons than Batman and he fought through that. So how can a well trained Human beat The Man of Steel who is truly near immortal????
Wait… he is not Batman he is "the Bat of Gotham"?!
This movie just keeps looking worse and worse. This was an awful trailer. Just when it finally sold me on Affleck and Eisenberg, they butchered EVERYTHING with Doomsday. He looks like one of Michael Bay\’s ninja turtles, they spoiled it, and he shouldn\’t be in this movie to begin with. I\’m so disappointed.
Wow that looks HORRIBLE. And also pretty much gives the entire movie away. I miss Nolan.
Something is fundamentally wrong when Affleck is better actor in the scene.
Wow, what an odd shift in tone for the last few seconds. Hope the film isn\’t that uneven.
Affleck looks like he works as Wayne, but the Batsuit and voice are a little awkward in these clips. Eisenberg, who I generally like a lot, doesn\’t look to be trying very hard, and if that\’s an example of his Luthor, I\’m not sure how it will add up to very much. Cavill is cartoony as ever, some of the effects are very soft and unfinished (though they might still be in progress — why show them now?), Wonder Woman\’s entrance is flat, and Doomsday looks like a boss from Doom. Maybe the script is great? From this it\’s hard to see why the studio was so excided by the cut.
That CGI monster looked stupid.
Somebody needs to be giving Junkie XL less cocaine.
It\’s not the tone that\’s the issue, it\’s Synder\’s total over reliance on CGI fight sequences that\’s the problem. Everything was going great until we get into the video-game showdown.
looks like absolute nonsense, really.
Looks awful. No getting around it.
This movie is just a bad situation.
When you have to start using flashy jump cuts to make a $300m (?) blockbuster seem more exciting… You have a very expensive problem.
I was excited from the teaser two days ago, and am now disappointed from the trailer. I think I just wanna see another Batman only movie.
Wow, the last half of that trailer looks so lame.
No point in lying, I\’m watching the hell out of this.
Still Doomsday/Abomination seems like a step too far.
Yeah, don\’t think I need to see this.
