The first of this year’s two major superhero brawls lands in theaters tomorrow, with “Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice” (read our review). Without wanting to take sides in the seemingly endless Marvel/DC laws (you can like both, guys!), it won’t be hard for the second, “Captain America: Civil War,” to pick up better reviews, given the mostly toxic reaction to Zack Snyder’s film this week.

Still, Marvel aren’t going to let Batz Vs. Supes dominate the limelight entirely this week, with a new Japanese trailer for the movie hitting the internet (courtesy of Den Of Geek) with a little new footage. It’s mostly familiar territory, again showing the brewing conflict between Chris Evans’ Cap and Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man, and the heroes on either side, but we do get a little more to go on, including a nice moment between Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow.
Meanwhile, co-director Joe Russo talked to Empire this week and called the new movie “a love story” between Captain America and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky, saying “these are two guys who grew up together, and so they have the same emotional connection to each other as brothers would, and even more so because Bucky was all Steve had growing up.” Will they finally make out? We should find out soon: the film hits theaters in a little over a month internationally, before hitting U.S. theaters on May 6th.
