He’s back. "The Terminator" franchise lives for another day with "Terminator Genisys," but many still can’t get their head around the revamp of the series. The T-800 is now the protector of Sarah Connor? John Connor is a bad guy? Yeah, well, deal with it because the movie is coming and hey, maybe the clever concept will work?
At any rate, even if it doesn’t, we’ll at least have J.K. Simmons, with the Oscar winner acting as something of an "audience guide" through the movie it seems, as he has to figure out (along with the rest of us), what the heck is going on. You can see a clip of him in action below as part of an interrogation that goes wrong. After that are a couple of quick featurettes with more explaining and promotion, and it’s all capped off with some TV spots.
