"I'm old," Arnold Schwarzenegger declares in this new trailer for "The Last Stand," and indeed he's gotten on in years since his action hero glory days. At 65 years old, his ass kicking days are fading fast, but he's still getting in a few shots at the bad guys as he gets set to return to his first leading man action role in a long, long time next month.
Directed by "The Good The Bad The Weird" and "I Saw The Devil" helmer Kim Ji-Woon, making his Hollywood debut, Arnie plays a small town border cop who is the last person between some sports car-driving villains making a break for Mexico and the Feds on their tail. So he does what any normal person would do and rounds up the most competent people around — who appear to be Johnny Knoxville and Luiz Guzman — to help him out. Explosions and old people jokes ensue!
Whatever, this looks every bit like a January movie release, so our expectations have been gauged accordingly. We keep hoping Kim Ji-Woon makes his stamp known on this, but that thought is fading very fast. "The Last Stand" makes a last stand on January 18, 2013. [via The Film Stage]

I don't know about you guys, but to me this looks AWESOME. The Good the Bad and the Weird was amazing. And I'm glad to see AHNULD back (in something other than The Expendables).
Did anyone else have to watch a three minute music video to get to the trailer? Yeesh.
Great trailer. I\’m sold.
looks great!
thank god Arnie is bad.
It's Mr Kim not Woon. His name is Ji-Woon, last name Kim
Mr Woon hasn't convinced me so far that he's something more than a pure stylist . That said, I still believe he will manage to provide delightful moments of absurd fun, like he did in The Good,The Bad, The Weird.
