The crowd this is geared towards probably doesn’t remember, but “Endless Love” is actually remake of the 1981 film starring Brooke Shields and Martin Hewitt, that also served as an early launching pad for Tom Cruise. And so, what does this do-over bring to the table?
Well, it has Alex Pettyfer and Gabriella Wilde in the leading roles, playing a young couple in love (awww) whose passion and romance threatens to be thwarted by their meddling parents (boo!). Shana Feste, of “Country Strong” fame, is directing this effort which merely has to avoid getting six Golden Raspberry Awards to bet the accomplishments of the original film. This movie clearly isn’t for us, but perhaps someone reading is into this, right?
And, naturally, “Endless Love” will open on Valentine’s Day. Watch below.
Looks dire and the actor and actress are beyond bland. The Scott Spencer novel is fascinating. Don't know why we keep getting these dud Hollywood adaptations of it that have almost no resemblance to it beyond the title and a romance.
Surprise – it looks great.
doesnt look like anything intriguing
