April is a big month for "Star Wars" fans. Of course, there’s Star Wars Celebration from April 16-19, where the new trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is expected to debut…unless the latest rumors are true and it lands online next week. And Disney isn’t wasting a marketing moment either. They’ve announced the "Star Wars" saga is coming to Digital HD and starting this Friday.
And to celebrate the moment, the company has unleashed six trailers and fifteen clips to show off the spiffy new paint job given to the movies. To fans wishing that they could return to the time before George Lucas tinkered with the effects and everything else in his films, this will be another painful reminder of how much the movies have changed across the decades. But if those tweaks don’t concern you as much, then this is a chance to watch the "Star Wars" saga on any device in eye-popping detail.
And even more, there will be new special features — "Star Wars: Discoveries from Inside" and "Conversations" (on ‘The Phantom Menace‘ and ‘Attack Of The Clones‘) — and you can buy the whole thing in one set, or individually.
Below, check out new trailers for the six films in the series, plus 15 clips of iconic scenes (Han Solo frozen, the Sarlacc Pit, Imperial Walkers) and more.
