it’s hard to believe it was only three years ago that "The Hunger Games" first hit theaters, but it quelled any doubt that the success of "Twilight," and the potentially lucrative dollars to be made from YA material, was just a one time thing. But as far as Katniss goes, it all comes to an end with "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2."
Indeed, The Capitol is the target this time around as President Snow will see his empire crumble, but the sly trick these blockbusters have pulled off has been adding commentary about the relationship between politics and the media, and the power found in symbols. Katniss’ struggle to fight while being manipulated by those in power around her is one of the more intriguing elements to emerge in the series.
