A musical about grubby looking people scrabbling around a France as an uprising brews, a genre mashup about slavery, a movie about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, a picture that is literally someone dying for two hours, another one about fracking, a film about the ups and downs of turning forty…yeah, you might want to rest your brain this holiday season and Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand are here to let you do just that.
You might not think it, but the "The Guilt Trip" is our secret guilty pleasure this holiday season. Yes, the comedy about a mother/son roadtrip looks totally predictable and obvious, but there is something about Streisand being the overbearing, cheek pinching, invasive mom we think could be kind of hilarious. Two clips have dropped to give a brief taste of what to expect and again — it's not next level but we're giggling at this over here.
"The Guilt Trip" hits the road on December 19th. Check out the clips below along with some new images from the movie.
Thanks for this post! Iâve been looking forward to this movie since I first saw the trailer for it so itâs cool to have some more sneak peeks of it. A couple of my DISH co-workers have already discussed getting a group together to go see it, but Iâm one of those people who doesnât like seeing movies in theaters. My plan is to add this to my Blockbuster@Home queue through my DISH account when it comes out on DVD. That way itâll show up in my mailbox and Iâll be able to have a movie night with my boyfriend in the comfort of my own home. Plus, when weâre done watching it, I can return the DVD to the Blockbuster store down the street for the next movie in my queue.
