Viggo Mortesen is set to team with Argentinean writer-director Ana Piterbarg on a forthcoming project titled “Everyone Has A Plan.”
Few details are currently known of the story though the script has already earned critical acclaim taking home the Julio Alejandro Screenplay Award and winning Piterbarg $50,000 at the 2008 Malaga Film Festival. The project will be Piterbarg’s directorial debut after assistant directing on two smaller productions in Fernando Spiner’s “Adiós Querida Luna” and Martín Rejtman’s “The Magic Gloves.”
“I’m going to be filming in Argentina in the coming year,” Mortensen told Onetti. “It’s a small film but interesting. It will be filmed in the capital and also in Tigre.” Lensing is set to take place sometime in 2011 and will see the actor return to the South American country he lived in until the age of 11.
There is not a commercial bone in that man's body. Artist all the way. Thanks Viggo.
