Running at about 30 seconds and filmed on what looks like a cell phone camera, this clip of the forthcoming buddy cop comedy “The Other Guys” starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg is about as “teaser” as it gets.
Captured by Collider at a Sony video stand at ShoWest, it’s basically Wahlberg and Ferrell doing an action pose and then showing them bickering after the scene is cut. It’s sort of mildly amusing. Not much to base a film on anyway. We’ll wait to see more before forming our opinions on this one, but let’s just hope its better than “Cop Out.”
“The Other Guys” opens on August 6th.
