With “Toy Story 3” set to hit screens on June 18th, the marketing ramp up has begun this week with a new trailer and cute character posters hitting the web.
Thankfully, it looks like Pixar is sticking to the the tried and true ingredients of the past two films, and not looking to the break the mold. This time around, Woody and Buzz are donated to a local daycare when Andy leaves for college leaving them to encounter new playmates and new toys. The trailer pretty much gives us the entire story which is kind of a shame (once again, they need to get back to Andy) and sadly goes into poop joke territory, but Michael Keaton as Ken is some pretty inspired casting.
Pixar have also released one-sheets for some of the new gang. We’ve put our favorite to the left and you check out the others here. The new trailer is below.
I was pretty sceptical when I first heard that Pixar was making another Toy Story film; but after seeing this trailer, I’m now officially stoked. Thanks for sharing!
