Got a Tip?

Tom Hardy Double Feature: New Trailer For ‘Lawless’ & IMAX TV Spot For ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

nullThis summer, you're gonna be getting a whole lot of Tom Hardy. And to cap off your week, here are two new trailers for his latest efforts, which mostly boast the same stuff we've seen before. But hey, it's Friday, and if you want to get out of work on time, better to stay in your cubicle/office fucking off on the internet than possibly running into your boss in the hallway, right?

First up, a short one minute trailer for John Hillcoat's "Lawless" has arrived that is basically a re-edit of the longer version from a couple of months back. As you already know, this one stars a pretty amazing cast — Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Gary Oldman, Guy Pearce, Shia LaBeouf, Mia Wasikowska, Jason Clarke — in a based-on-a-true-story tale about the Bondurant brothers who struggle to hang on to their lucrative moonshine business, during the fading years of prohibition, with a sadistic special agent on their tail. If you're expecting a good time and some lively entertainment, "Lawless" fits the bill (though it doesn't quite reach the epic scope it seems to be striving for). Oh yeah, Hardy is pretty fucking funny in it. It opens on August 29th.

Next up is yet another TV spot for "The Dark Knight Rises," this time urging everyone to see it in IMAX. Blah blah blah blah directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman (another double dose!), Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple and about a zillion other people. Something something epic conclusion. Watch below, and if you missed them, check out the new pics from the movie right here. Oh yeah, July 20th for this in case you've been living under a rock and had no idea.
