Suggests His Penis Might Be Bigger Than Sylvester Stallone’s
We’d understand if you haven’t been keeping up with all the internecine workings of the forthcoming Walter Hill directed, Sylvester Stallone starring “Headshot” but here’s the quick rundown. First, Wayne Kramer was going to direct before he was bounced for Hill and then back in April, Thomas Jane was cast in the co-starring role in the film. However, a couple of months later, Sung Kang was suddenly announced as the new actor who would be playing opposite Stallone, amid rumors that new producer Joel Silver was giving the film a racial makeover. Turns out that was true.
In an interview with Collider, Jane speaks very candidly about his dismissal from the film. “Well, Joel Silver came onboard the project and said that he has a quote-unquote ‘formula’ for these quote-unquote ‘buddy movies’ and it has to be a white guy and a quote-unquote ‘ethnic guy.’ And they relieved me of duty and basically paid me off, which I was really upset about, you know?,” Jane said. “I didn’t get a call from Stallone. I was a little upset about that. Maybe they didn’t want anybody on the movie with a bigger dick than him.” Ooooh, take that Rambo!
Jane also suggests that it was his idea to bring in Hill after Stallone and Kramer weren’t seeing eye-to-eye on the film. “Wayne Kramer brought me into the project and when Wayne left the project I suggested Walter Hill to Stallone and the next week they hired Walter Hill and I was very happy about that because I’ve always wanted to work with him,” Jane said. And while he won’t get to work with Hill just yet, Jane suggets that Kramer’s darker vision for the film is what got him booted from the movie.
“Wayne Kramer is very dark, very extreme, which I personally like. But I know that Stallone is a bit more of a traditionalist. That doesn’t make it worse it just makes it different. Walter Hill for my money was the man to fulfill both. He can do great with character and he’s great with action. So he is the man…I hope they can still make a great film without me,” Jane explained.
While there is going to be some fuss made about this incident, the biggest takeaway for us is that producer Joel Silver is applying a formula mindset to a pretty decently gritty premise, about a Louisiana hitman (Stallone) who teams up with an NYC cop (Kang) in order to take revenge on the men who killed their partners. We guess we were a bit naive expecting anything more from a Stallone film, but clearly Silver wants to play it safe and deliver nothing more than standard action tropes to please Sly’s faithful. As for the whole race thing, we’re always up for racial diversity but unceremoniously dumping an actor in order to make that happen is pretty shitty.
Anyway, the Jane-less movie starts shooting soon with Jason Momoa and Sarah Shahi rounding out the cast.
I definitely will not watch this movie. Thomas Jane is the best!
Thomas Jane is the most attractive and under rated actor in US. I love "Deep Blue Sea", "Hung", "Original Sin", "the Punisher", "Thursday", "The Mist", "The sweatest thing", "Stander", "Boogie nights" . I love every character he has starred.

*SUNG Kang. I meant Sung Kang. My bad -_-
Hahaha, oh wow. Classy guy. Good riddance.
All right, Sun Kang! I\’ll watch any movie with him in it.

Are you serious? Asian-American actors get dumped all the time to make way for white ones – even when the character being portrayed is Asian. Or have you forgotten that Mickey Rourke will don yellow face to play the role of Ghengis Khan in an upcoming movie? Where are screams of injustice for that?
It\’s pretty crappy to get fired liked that. But the whole \”Maybe they didn’t want anybody on the movie with a bigger dick than him\”. How does he know Sung Kang doesn\’t? Don\’t fight discrimination with racism, jerk. Can\’t really feel that sorry for you.
Okay, here starts the Bullshit from someone that just couldn\’t cut it and now wants to put everybody down. Sore Ass loser.
I would be more interested in a film starring Jane and Kang. I\’d rather they have dumped Stallone instead.
Walter Hill and two rising stars (Momoa and Shahi)? I\’m in.
Stallone couldn\’t even give Jane the courtesy of a phone call, that is shitty!
At last an actor who speaks the truth and lays down what actually happened! Good man.
