You can bet that with “Iron Man 3” opening in just a couple of weeks, Marvel isn’t going to miss a hot second to promote their other superhero movie this year, “Thor: The Dark World.” So perhaps in advance of the eventual teaser trailer or teaser for the teaser trailer, the studio has dropped the first poster, and it’s….well, you’re not going to mistake this movie for anything else.
Chris Hemsworth wields his hammer on the one sheet, which doesn’t reveal much else except lightning and rain. Yawn. Anyway, this time around our hero will protect Asgard from the forces of the Dark Elves, with Maliketh (Christopher Eccleston) and Algrim/Kurse (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) leading the charge. Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins (AS ODIN say the unnecessary additional credits) reprise their roles from the first movie. ‘The Dark World’ lights up the box office on November 8th. I don't think so this is the correct poster. This seems fake and odd. I read somewhere that next week the trailer and poster will be released.
Loki is a great villain and can be more dark and insane. It depends on the script. In Thor, some great scenes were deleted showing his deep side. In Avengers he could be more destructive sadly Joss Whedon couldn't capture his wrath.
Tom Hiddleston is a great actor. An Oscar in making.
Tom Hiddleston again? Man, I've had enough of that guy. He's such a pathetic villain.
