So Christian Bale freaked out on the set of “Terminator Salvation” last year and the audio of the ugly event hit the internet yesterday. There’s no way you could have missed it.
Anyhow, those great reporters at TMZ have talked to Bruce Franklin — assistant director and associate producer on the film and one of the guy’s Bale told to stfu until he finished verbally bitchslapping cinematographer Shane Hurlbut — and he dismissed it all as a “non event.”
“Christian is a method actor and was completely immersed in his scene … his reaction was from the heat of the moment.”
Yeah, people what the fuck, he was acting, he was in the zone. Eyes on the prize kids, eyes on the prize.
Franklin told E! “If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove…It was the most emotional scene in the movie…And for him to get stopped in the middle of it. He is very intensely involved in his character. This was my second movie with Christian…He is so dedicated to the craft. I think someone is begging to make some noise about this, but I don’t think it’s fair. The art of acting is not paint by numbers, it’s an art form. “
TMZ says Bale was under tremendous “pressure,” was juggling ‘Dark Knight’ promotion and the crew ended up shooting an extra seven hours. Case closed? We still think he probably finally screened, “Charlie’s Angels,” the night before and thought, “what have I done!?”
Bale Out – RevoLucian’s Christian Bale Remix!
look further down the front page, it’s there already.
Yes, sorry, I just have see it right now. The remix is rellay good, Is´nt it?
very.
Oh GOD. Christian Bale in Charlie’s Angels?
Are you KIDDING.
That’s a McG joke you must have missed.
Bale was just doing what McG should have done in the first place when the DP screwed up the shot the first time around…Effing Amateur!
You guys are missing the point. If Bale doesn’t stay in character it might ruin a McG movie! I mean, a third sequel in a franchise about a killer robot that travels back in time for some reason (h/t Simpsons!) deserves to be treated with all due respect and solemnity.
Who ever the hell did that gif, deserves an award
