Here’s some stuff we saw over the weekend we mean to post. We got stung by a bee, oww. đ
Taco Bell the movie, or “Beverley Hills Chihuahua” was at the top of the box-office this weekend with $29 million. So close to the election, this is a really bad sign. If you don’t understand why, we shudder. “Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist” took the #2 spot with $12 million, recouping in its first weekend nearly all its $13 million cost. In limited release, “Rachel Getting Married,” grossed $300,000 in only nine theaters. “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People” came in at a dismal 19th place with just $1.4 million despite being released on 1,750 screens. Consider that one a huuge bomb. Schadenfreude as we love the original memoir and though this looked like total ass. [Reuters]
