During an election season that has gone from merely heated to completely surreal, it’s only going to get worse before it gets better, particularly with the final presidential debate tomorrow night. Based on his one-man show which he was barred from performing in Ohio, the movie proclaims itself to be “the film Ohio Republicans tried to shut down,” taking viewers “right into hostile territory with his daring and hilarious” production. Running a trim 73 minutes, it’s clear which side of the political spectrum Moore is on, and his new picture will certainly get people talking.
“Michael Moore In TrumpLand” begins a one-week run in New York at the IFC Center and in Los Angeles at the Laemmle Town Center 5 in Encino starting tomorrow, with a sneak preview tonight in New York. And if you’re not in either of those cities, ‘TrumpLand’ hits iTunes this week too.
