Did director David Lynch come to terms with Showtime over the third season of “Twin Peaks,” the show he walked from over a month ago due to what appeared to be budgetary issues? The answer is yes.
The director announced on Twitter that he has returned for the third season of "Twin Peaks," which he will co-write and direct, and, according to the network, it’s going to be even bigger. “This damn fine cup of coffee from Mark and David tastes more delicious than ever,” said Showtime president David Nevins. “Totally worth the extra brewing time and the cup is even bigger than we expected. David will direct the whole thing which will total more than the originally announced nine hours. Pre production starts now!”
